After School Academies
After School Academies are offered three times a year (Fall, Winter, and Spring). Point of contact is Janice Chong – jchong@fcps.edu.
On Friday, December 2, 2011, you can download the Winter 2012 After School Academy brochure or register online by selecting the class below. You will be required to login, or to create an account if you have not yet done so in order to register.
Kent Gardens is pleased to offer the Winter 2012 session of the After School Academy program. Please read the guidelines below and the information that follows. The following guidelines apply for all academy classes:
- Enrollment is limited so please register early. Registration is ONLINE ONLY. Please go to www.kentgardenspta.com/programs/after-school-academies to register and process payment. Children will not be permitted to attend an academy until the class has been paid for.
- Registration will close on Tuesday, December 20, 2012. We are sorry, but no late registrations will be accepted.
- Winter session classes will be 8 lengths in week and start the week of January 9th and continue through the week of February 27th. The weeks of March 5th, March 12th, and March 19th will serve as make-ups if necessary.
- Pick up policy: Please pick up your child(ren) up promptly. Please be sure to carefully review the late pick up policy when you register online.
- The Academy personnel reserve the right to request that a child leave a class if his/her behavior is disruptive or inappropriate. No refunds will be given.
- Classes will be offered only if there is sufficient enrollment. You will be contacted if the course you have selected is cancelled.
- THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AFTER THE FIRST CLASS.
- For financial aid, please contact the Assistant Principal, Ms. Gavin, before registering a child.
You will be required to register (and pay by Paypal) for each class separately. If you wish to enroll more than one child in the same class, please email us at website@kentgardenspta.com. The software we are using for registration is having issues handling multiple registrations for the same class so we want to confirm registration details and may need to register additional children manually.
