Reflections is a program of the National PTA.  Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works.  Each year, a new theme is selected and students are encouraged to interpret the theme using visual arts, photography, literature, musical composition, dance choreography, or film/video production.  The theme for the school year 2011 – 2012 is “Diversity means….”

The program will kick-off at the beginning of the year, so students are encouraged to start thinking about possible ideas for entry over the course of the summer!  The submission deadline is now October 21, 2011.
