Reflections for 2013 – 2014
The National PTA Reflections program is an arts program, offering students the opportunity to earn local, state, and even national recognition for original artwork they create in response to a specific theme.
This year’s theme is Believe, Dream, Inspire. Encourage your children to submit their own works of art. Students should reflect upon and interpret the theme, creating artwork that represents their creativity. They may use visual arts, photography, literature, musical composition, dance choreography, or film/video production.
The deadline for entries is October 25. Place the artwork in the Reflections box in the main office.
To help students participate in the Reflections art competition, read the General Participation Rules as well as the rules specific to each art category.
The category rules must be followed or the artwork cannot be submitted. Read and follow the specific rules for each art category before designing artwork:
- Dance Choreography Rules
- Film Production Rules
- Literature Rules
- Music Composition Rules
- Photography Rules
- Visual Arts Rules
All entries must follow the general and specific artwork rules. Put each entry in a large manila folder with aStudent Entry Form, and place them in the Reflections box located in the main office.
